documenting

documenting vacations is a bit overwelming. especially when we come back with a combination of thousands of pictures.

i try to save pieces of this and that as we go along with hopes of including them in a scrapbook. the boy is pretty good at asking before throwing something.

trying to create page layouts is time consuming and discouraging…but i have found a new way.

i have adapted project life’s style of documenting weeks into documenting vacations as well.

the page protectors are divided and breaks up the overwelmingness. i can create little pockets of pictures/mini layouts quickly.

this layout also welcomes little stories that i remember along the way without having to write a novel.

so i have been working on last year’s vacations in hopes of getting caught up before too many pass and the memories fade.

here’s what i’ve done..

not all pages are perfectly finished…oops. its a work in progress right?love the flexibility and variety of page sizes/types of layouts..and freedom to add odd sized things to the mix.this is what i’m working on right now from this year..
