Helpful Information

Arriving to your Sessions:

Please plan to arrive to your session 5-10 minutes early.  Your session time starts when the shoot is scheduled, not when you arrive.  Please note this is especially important during mini sessions.  I schedule many mini sessions in one evening, so I am not able to make up lost time.

Outdoor Sessions:

Try to minimize what you bring to the session.  We will be doing a lot of walking.  We walk from location to location around the park or downtown.  It is hard to keep picking up and setting items down.  Bringing snacks and water for your children is fine.


Sessions will only be cancelled due to rain, snow, sleet, or hail.  I do not cancel sessions for clouds and overcast skies.  The decision to cancel a session will happen an hour before your session.  Your deposit will be applied to another session with Love Lindsey Photography.


I bring a quilt or blanket to every session.  I sometimes also have boxes or chairs depending on the age of the children.  If you have anything you would like to incorporate, please feel free to bring your own items.

Newborn Prep:

Feed the baby before leaving the house.  Put their diaper on loose to minimize the marks it leaves on their skin when we remove the diaper for the session.  Sessions vary greatly in length depending on how much a baby needs to feed and be soothed.  They can last between 1-3 hours.


Not every shoot is going to be perfect.  Life happens.  Kids are not always perfect.  I will gladly reschedule your session if you don’t feel it’s going well during the shoot.  The reschedule fee is $25.00 per half hour reshoot.  Once the gallery has been edited and you have received your images, it cannot be redone.  Rescheduling must be scheduled before editing takes place.
Can I bring my dog?

Yes, I do not mind if your dog tags along for some photos.  A leash is a good idea to keep him/her contained when not in the photos.  Please let me know in advance if a dog is going to be involved in the shoot.

Can you Photoshop that out?

My style is very much about real life.  If you are desiring intense editing, there will be an additional fee for such services.

Image Delivery:

It takes me on average 14 days to edit your session.  You will receive an email with the drop box link to download your images.  All downloads include a print release.  I recommend as a great source for printing.    If you fail to download your gallery and need it to be put back up at a later time, there is a fee of $25 for this service.

If your gallery only includes a limited number of images, you will have 15 days to choose your images once the gallery has been delivered.  If no images are delivered within 15 days, I will choose the top images from the session and you will receive those images as a drop box link or pixieset link (zip files).


Sorry, I do not accept Paypal. In order to keep my prices as low as possible, I do not accept PayPal.  Cash or check with the remaining balance fee is due at the time of the session.  If you wish to pay by credit card, there will be a service fee.  Thank you for supporting my small business.
