d.i.y. chalkboard globe

i love globes or any maps for that matter. i have probably about 8  globes or so.

i have seen people paint over them really neat, and when i saw this chalkboard globe, i knew i must do it.

i started with a globe that i found at a yard sale for 5 dollars this summer.

it actually took a lot of chalkboard paint to cover it. this is two coats and i think it really might need a third. (the paint ran pretty bad)

side note (chalkboard paint is kind of pricey, but you can make your own, i saw this diy on pinterest)
